Brisbania Public School provides a weekly sports program across all grades from Kindergarten to Year 6. In addition there are swimming, athletics and cross country carnivals. The children are placed into a house on commencement at the school, with siblings being placed in the same house.

The houses at Brisbania Public School are Wombat, Kangaroo, Platypus and Koala.
